Mike J

First releasing music onto the web in 2015, on a collaborative project with Canadian Producer “JP Soundz’, the pair put out a Lo-Fi release that was streamed 80,000 times within its first week online. 2 years later, the local success of a gritty Garage-House track labelled “Infamous” forged his path into the local club scene, performing 32 weeks of 52 in his freshman year. By 2018, Mike J was a name on the radar of Canadian, Techno veteran ‘Van Did’, subsequently releasing on his wildly popular ‘8Day’ platform, which has hosted fellow South African Tech-House giant, ‘Ryan Murgatroyd’. An ever-growing online buzz and steady growth in touring, landed Mike J a deal with Universal Music Group, who now exclusively handle his bookings.
