+ What is the minimum age to attend Rage Festival in 2017?
The minimum age limit for entry to Rage Festival is 18. (People born in 1999 that are not 18 at the time of the festival will NOT be granted entrance, even though they turn 18 in 2017).
+ Can I bring my medication to Rage Festival?
Rage Festival conduct an absolute zero tolerance policy with regard to drugs! It is prohibited to use, deal or be in possession of drugs on the festival grounds. If you need to take prescribed medication due to health problems, you need to be in possession of a valid medical certificate. We can only allow these specific medications if you can present a valid medical certificate at the entrance.
+ What Identification is accepted at Rage Festival?
Original identification only. ID, Passport, Driver’s License. No certified copies will be accepted.
+ How can I apply to work at Rage Festival?

+ What payment method can I use to purchase a Rage Festival Passport?
Credit card or EFT/Cash Deposits are accepted. Only some debit cards are accepted. If you select the EFT or Cash Deposit option you will be required to make your payment within 12 hours of your booking. You will receive an email with all the relevant details. Your ticket will be emailed to you within 72 hours from when the payment reflected.
+ Can I give money to a Ragent to buy a Rage Festival Passport for me?
No. If you want to use cash to purchase your Rage Festival Passport, select the EFT/Cash Deposit payment option and follow the steps.
+ CAN I TRANSFER MY RAGE FESTIVAL PASSPORT INTO A FRIEND’S NAME?
Transfers of Rage Festival Passports are not permitted. Once a name is loaded onto the system against a Rage Festival unique Passport code, it cannot be changed. This is for security purposes.
+ I paid by EFT but I have not received my Rage Festival Passport.
It can take up to three working days for the funds to reflect in our account and for the Rage Festival confirmation ticket to be issued. Make sure you use the correct reference when making the EFT or Cash Deposit. Do not use your name as the reference. You will receive the reference to use in an email after you select the EFT/Cash Deposit option. Also, make sure you keep a copy or proof of payment. If after three days you still have not received your Rage Festival Passport, please email your proof of payment to passports@ragefestival.co.za and we will follow up for you.
+ Is the booking fee charged to process credit card and EFT payments?
THIS FEE IS CHARGED BY THE TICKET PROCESSING COMPANY AND WILL BE ADDED TO EACH OF THE RAGE PASSPORT PRICES. THE FEE PER RAGE FESTIVAL PASSPORT IS AS FOLLOWS: RAGE BLACK: R80 RAGE PLATINUM: R60 RAGE RED: R50 RAGE BLUE: R40 RAGE LITE: R30
+ My moms name is on the ticket, what do I do?
No problem, this can be changed when you register your Rage Festival Passport on www.rageconnect.co.za.

+ Why do I need to register my Rage Festival Passport once I have received it?
To make sure it’s valid and secure. Once your Rage Festival Passport is registered in your name with your details, we are able to communicate with you throughout the year about Rage Festival updates, artist announcements, competitions, accommodation, transport and more. This also ensures that the Rage Festival Passport belongs to you (the person attending Rage Festival).
+ How do I get my physical Rage Festival Passport?
Information relating to the collection or delivery of your Rage Festival Passport will be communicated during the year via email, app notifications, on our social media and through Ragents. Your Rage Festival Passport will need to be registered before collection.
+ Why do Rage Festival Platinum Passport holders have limited guaranteed access to clubs?
Due to club capacity in certain clubs, Rage Festival cannot guarantee that all Rage Festival Platinum Passport holders will be given entrance into that club. There will however, be a large allocation for Rage Festival Platinum Passport holders and therefore, attendees will be granted preferential access over Rage Festival Bronze and Blue Passport holders. In the event of clubs reaching capacity, as a Rage Festival Platinum Passport holder, you will have the option of waiting to gain entrance or be re-directed to the nearest alternative club event.
+ How can I upgrade my Rage Festival Passport?
You may only upgrade your Rage Festival Passport provided the Rage Festival Passport type you are upgrading to is still available. You will pay in the full difference between the Rage Festival Passport you originally purchased and the Rage Festival Passport you are upgrading to.
+ Can I sell my Rage Festival Passport?
Please note that scalping or reselling of Rage Festival Passports/tickets is illegal and not allowed. However, we may allow this, provided the Rage Festival Passport/ticket is sold at the same price it was purchased for and permission was obtained. To obtain permission email passports@ragefestival.co.za and we will notify you how you may go about selling your Rage Festival Passport. Please note: if you do not obtain permission, we have the right to invalidate your Rage Festival Passport without notice.
+ What complimentary drinks do I get with my Rage Festival Black Passport?
At the entrance of each Sound Factory event, Rage Festival Black Passport holders will receive a complimentary drink.
+ Can I get a Refund for my Rage Festival Passport?
A refund can be requested provided the Rage Festival Passport has not been delivered or collected. Any refund will incur a cancellation charge depending on when the refund is requested. 1. You are entitled to cancel your Rage Festival Passport on the condition that the Rage Festival Passport has not yet been delivered or collected. This cancellation may be done at any time prior to the day before the date of the event by sending a cancellation notice to passports@ragefestival.co.za. 2. Once the details of your booking have been reinserted into the system, you will be refunded the face value paid for the relevant tickets. You may be liable for cancellation charges as determined by us which may be deducted from your refund. The following cancellation charges may apply: a) If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event a 25% cancellation fee will apply; b) If the cancellation occurs less than 30 but more than 7 days prior to the event a 50% cancellation fee will apply; c) If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the event a 75% cancellation fee will apply; 4) In the event that you can provide us with documentary proof that a person in whose name a ticket was booked will not be able to attend the event because of his / her death or incapacity, we will not levy a cancellation fee in respect of that person’s ticket.
+ WHAT HAPPENS IF I BUY A RAGE FESTIVAL PASSPORT AND I OR THE PERSON THE RAGE FESTIVAL PASSPORT IS BEING BOUGHT FOR IS UNDER 18?
Rage Festival is strictly for persons over the age of 18. Due to liquor license rules and restrictions, the festival organisers can not allow entry to any persons under the age of 18 and take extra precautionary measures to enforce this. If any person purchasing a Rage Festival Passport using false Identification or Identification that does not belong to the person the Rage Festival Passport is intended for, the person purchasing the Rage Festival Passport will be at risk of losing any potential refund in the event that the Rage Festival Passport is revoked due to the holder being under the age of 18. Having a Rage Festival Passport does not guarantee the holder entrance into any Rage Festival venue and valid identification will be requested at all entry points.
